ECE 5381 - Digital Computer Design
Credits: 3
Emphasizes design of digital systems and register transfer. Design conventions, addressing modes, interrupts, input-output, channel organization, high-speed arithmetic, and hardwired and microprogrammed control. Also, central processor organization design and memory organization. Each student completes one or more laboratory projects. Prerequisites: C- or better in ECE 2181 , ECE 2381 and junior standing.
