ME 4360 - Design and Control of Mechanical Systems

Covers block modeling of mechanical systems, mathematical models of linear systems, and solution of differential equations by use of Laplace transforms. Also, feedback control systems, time domain analysis, stability, frequency response, and root locus plots. Includes Bode diagrams, performance criteria, system compensation, and design of control systems for mechanical systems. Prerequisites: ME 2320/CEE 2320, MATH 3313, and MATH 3304. Corequisite: ME 4160.
