Return to: Departments > Programs
The minor in environmental Earth sciences is designed with a two-course geology core as background to an interdisciplinary course of study. The minor is freestanding and is not intended to lead to a major. Instead, it should provide an excellent and substantive background for students heading into the environmental field from other disciplines. The minor is not suitable for a student majoring or minoring in the Earth sciences or environmental Earth sciences. The Roy M. Huffington Department of Earth Sciences is responsible for administration of this minor.
